The hair god, the Craigslist killer, the plant king, Speak! Is a Los Angeles icon-turned Mexico City based rap game, Los Tigres del Norte. Over the course of this decade, he’s collaborated with everyone from Mac Miller to Vince Staples, Juicy J to Denzel Curry. And he also happened to write Kreayshawn’s “Gucci Gucci.” In honor of his latest album, ‘A Man + His Plants’, he joins the Rocket Radio Come Up to talk about his early days at Project Blowed, his friendship and working relationship with the deeply-mourned Mac Miller, and his sudden decision to move to Mexico. And he did it while his hair as silky as Charlotte’s Web. Here he is in conversation with Jeff Weiss.
