David Grann is a New York Times best selling author and staff writer for the New Yorker. He put out an amazing book in 2009 called "The Lost City of Z: A Tale of Deadly Obsession In The Amazon". The book covers the amazing life and mysterious disappearance of Colonel Percy H. Fawcett who vanished searching for a lost city in the Amazon he referred to as "Z". He has never been found.

Fawcett was basically a real life Indiana Jones. Since his disappearance, more than 100 people have died or vanished searching for him. David went searching and lived to tell about it in his incredible book.
