Reigning FIFA World Cup champions France have become the first team to qualify for the knockout stages afyer Kylian Mbappe inspired them to a 2-1 victory over Denmark.

France's joy leaves Denmark in a difficult position heading into Matchday 3, however. They must defeat Australia and hope France do not lose to Tunisia, otherwise they will be out.
