It’s important to remember that it's okay to want to work it all the time because you love your work. When I have free time, I will often use it to work. Time off from work is often seen as needing to leave everything behind, but I don’t believe that. If you want to take time off, it's about a shift in the balance.
To take time off, you’ll need to set expectations for what will happen while you're away. This will involve making a plan that works for you and your family and communicating that plan to your clients. Just a few of the action items I discuss are:
