Episode 22 hits the airwaves or podsphere as we get into the heart of the fall. Driving the countryside the majority of the crop is off, cattle prices are looking solid and optimism is much higher than in the not so distant past. Production sale season is here! Get out there, attend some sales, meet some people and enjoy yourself.
Rolly joins me on this episode to talk about cows, places and marketing. Rolly has always been a colourful story teller of breed history and past experiences. He has a long history in the purebred cattle business across North America and has worked, judged and traveled across the world. With a vast network and the uncanny ability to remember names, Rolly has lived through some wonderful highs and dealt with some tough lows with health issues and his herd dispersion of Braebank Shorthorns then Livestock. A take away I hope you note as the interview finishes is that it is never too late to try something and to never quit chasing your passions, even if they are not the same 5 years from now. Let yourself be flexible and adaptable to new experiences as that is the basis of opportunity in our business.
Thank y’all for listening! We appreciate New Vision Agro from Hague SK for sponsoring Episode 22.
We also want to recognize our season sponsor Klassen Industries! Your continued support keeps us going.
