Scott A. Warren is a Partner at the law firm of Squire Patton Boggs, a global law firm with over 1,500 lawyers at 45 offices in 21 countries. It has one of the largest networks of law offices in Asia, with a presence in Japan for over 30 years. Scott heads the Cybersecurity, Data Privacy and Digital Data Disclosures practices for Asia and supports Squire's Intellectual Property, Litigation/Disputes and Regulatory and Internal Investigations practices throughout the region.
He previously was Head of Japan for Epiq Systems and Regional Managing Director for Kroll Ontrack. Before that, he was Senior Counsel for Microsoft Japan and was General Counsel for Sega Corporation. He started his career as a litigator in Los Angeles. Scott has lived in Japan since 1993.
He is on the Executive Board of The Society for the Policing of Cyberspace (www.polcyb.org), which is an NGO dedicated to preventing cybercrimes and helping parties deal with digital evidence.
