I've struggled with skin issues since adolescence. If I'm being totally honest, it's still one of my biggest insecurities. Through the years, it's even had an effect on my mental health and how I show up in the world, but I never really heard much about that side of things growing up. Enter: Wendy Lewis, founder of The Acne Effect. Her mission is to bring awareness and educate the public about the impact acne has on mental health. She reminds us that acne happens, but losing yourself as a result of it should not.
