Daniel Vargas Graulau's life has been one of perseverance and dedication, beginning in a little village in Yauco, Puerto Rico. Raised by his grandparents, since his parents were unable to care for him, he experienced childhood trauma and struggled to overcome early sexual abuse. Despite these difficulties, wrestling became his shelter, providing an outlet for his emotions and assisting in his recovery from trauma. Wrestling gave Daniel a feeling of purpose and accomplishment, shaped his identity, and provided a path to healing.
