BWATB Nation, Today’s guest is a good friend from my childhood Lamont Sutton. Lamont currently runs KWU Sports camp based in Baltimore city. K. W. U. stands for Knowledge, Wisdom, and Understanding. Lamont has taken on a roll in a lot of young kids lives as a mentor and father figure across multiple schools in Baltimore. Lamont’s camp is a for profit business. He has never relied on city funding to assist him in his business ventures. We go way back to our childhood in this interview. We met at the P.A.L. Center in Medfield back in the late 90s early 2000s. He split his time between here and Park Heights. Growing up in both areas gave him the multitude of life skills to adjust in the fly as a camp coordinator. Tune in to hear his story first hand.
