What I loved about honoring my body is that listening to my body and engaging in intuitive eating was a powerful way of being with food that respected and honored my body in a way that diets never had for me.
As someone who hates being told what to do, it felt empowering to listen to my body and respect what it wanted to trust my body's wisdom.
And yes, of course, it helped me lose weight. Now it's gone on to help thousands of women I work with do the same - with my special sauce.
Listening to your body encourages you to focus on your body’s signals OVER your mind’s desire for food. It requires being honest with yourself about your body’s needs vs. just focusing on what your mind craves.
I gained weight in part because I was overeating - and honoring my body really helped me get honest with myself, my actions, and my relationship with myself and with food.
