How do you picture Jesus? A gentle shepherd? A glorious king? Did you know that Scripture also pictures Jesus as a warrior against sin and death? During our midweek Lenten services, we focus on the courage, humility, and power of our Savior Jesus. On Ash Wednesday, we saw how from the very beginning God planned to send his promised Warrior--our Savior Jesus Christ--to win the battle for our souls.
