George Thomas VanZant is a junior political science major at HBU. He grew up in Katy, Texas, and was homeschooled prior to enrolling at HBU. He is currently serving as the Student Government President and is also involved in Residence Life, Baptist Student Ministries, Mock Trial, Honors College, and Student Foundation. His hobbies include participating in HBU’s mock trial team and playing sports, like Frisbee and volleyball. He loves the realm of politics and seeks opportunities to work on campaigns, predict elections, and educate the public by writing the occasional essay on the subject.
