Two years ago today I had surgery to save my life from a huge blood clot. The clot extended from my left ankle to my belly button, and only through the grace of God and skill of my surgical team am I here today.
Today's episode is a bit of a retrospective of that whole time in my life as well as giving me a moment to give thanks for being here today, for my wife, who was 8 months pregnant and a ROCK through all of this.
It's also a reminder that life is precious, and we need to appreciate that and live a life that sucks the marrow out of every part of it. That we take advantage of the opportunities we're given, and that we figure out what our dreams are in every part of our life and live them - but that doesn't mean forsaking our families or those important to us. It means living a whole, full life where love, grace, and fulfillment are found for everyone in your family, to the best of your ability.
Hope you enjoy this one. And listen carefully, because it's a challenge to live a life where you're not wasting it.
