The Apostle Paul stated, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free!” That freedom is found in the unconditional love of God provided through his son, Jesus, who fulfilled the Law.
Paul’s treatise to the churches in the region of Galatia was meant to clear up false teaching that had infiltrated their beliefs. This love of God, through Jesus, provided immense freedom from the Law, actually more like an emancipation from it. But living under God’s love through Jesus instead of the Law of Moses was not intended to be a license to sin, but to produce fruit. Paul lists the fruit of the Spirit.
