This week I help you to understand that you are not your thoughts. A common misconception that people hold is that the inner monologue of thoughts in their head is them– but this is untrue. Who you are is the awareness of the thoughts, a concept that is incredibly liberating to fully realize and one that I do my best to help you to understand.
In the episode, I explain why people identify with their thoughts and how it can be harmful, explain the art of detachment (a strategy to help you put space between yourself and your thoughts), and recommend a book to master mindfulness and living in the present moment. If you're ready to overcome negative thinking and dis-identify with your noisy inner voice, tune in to episode 23 now! 🎙
