This week on The Library with Tim Einenkel, Tim talks to producer, dj, host and creator Mr. Green about his web series Live From The Streets (Vice Media Noisey) as well as the album Live From The Streets (Duck Down Records).
What's Mr. Green's artistic attraction to the street musician performancer?
“I love it. I think it's beautiful. If I were more of a traditional musician with instruments and not hip-hop, I would probably play out in the street because there's no middle man...If you actually want to have a music career, you have to deal with a lot B.S...It's not really artistic. If you just want to play an instrument and make a few bucks, and you don't really want to have to deal with the music industry, the music business, you can go out an rock anywhere...That's a great thing.”
