What if I told you weight loss is quite simple.
In fact, it's so simple, that I can share with you how it's done in pretty much three steps -
1. Eat meals with whole real foods with high water and fiber content that work best in your system – these foods are loaded with natural vitamins, nutrients, and micronutrients that make your brain and body work optimally. i.e. veggies and some fruits 2. Include as best quality lean proteins and fats that you can afford to buy in your meals that work best in your body because they satiate you, preserve your muscles, and help your brain function optimally. 3. Eat them in smaller amounts when you are hungry and up to satisfaction so that you can digest your food optimally, keep your energy high, and progress through the day in a fantastic way.
That's it! That is the main recipe for weight and fat loss!
The majority of weight and fat loss is in what you eat. If you add some movement, awesome - compound weight bearring movements are going to enhance muscle strength and contribute to fat loss. The majority of cardio enhances endurance and lung capacity so that you can do more and more cardiovascular movement over time.
But what gets in the way of that?
YOUR INCREDIBLE MIND!!!! Your mind is the ONLY thing that gets in the way of losing weight PERIOD!! Why? It’s been programmed by you (and our society) to attach fun and pleasure to food. When you eat sweet foods the brain's reward system, called the mesolimbic dopamine system get's activated and it feels PLEASURE. I don’t want to take away food being pleasurable for you, BUT I do want to make sure food isn't the only or main pleasure in your life, because you deserve to have more joy in your life…
