My Boyfriend's Back is a black comedy from 1993, which believe it or not, is a commentary about social discrimination but all importantly doesn't take itself that seriously! Johnny Dingle finds himself dead after saving his childhood crush, Missy, from a robber's bullet. Lucky for him, he's able to rise from the dead and come back to life as a zombie to take Missy to the prom, but not without some unfortunate consequences like rotting flesh, his ear falling off, and townspeople trying to burn him alive.
