This week on The Library, Tim talks to North Carolina MC Rapper Big Pooh of the group Little Brother about his new EP for Mello Music Group called "Words Paint Pictures" which was completely produced by Apollo Brown. Tim asks Rapper Big Pooh about the first single off the EP, "Stop" and the inspiration behind the track.
"That was an actually true story. That was the last track recorded for the EP. I thought I was about done. I just wanted to add one more song...I was just out, taking a ride and I just ended up getting stopped. I just felt with everything that was going on, this was the perfect opportunity to not only discuss those that have been killed by at the hands of police and vigilantes but also just put myself in the situation; talk about my personal situation. I just thought it was the perfect time for that."
