However, you have to be willing to do what it takes to make love stronger.

People want to fight for what they believe to be love, but what's forgotten is how to really love.

We focus too much on WIIFM... What's in it for me?

Love requires sacrifice and consistency. And both of those must come from you. You can't look at your partner and expect only them to give. You must give as much if not more even when you don't feel like it.

Love begins to fade if you are not swayed by the fact that love takes more.

• More forgiveness
• More consistency
• More presence

1. More forgiveness. You have to be willing to release the person (whether he/she is right or wrong) from your judgment. Because when you or I judged, that determines how we react, which makes it more challenging to respond. A response gives breath to the heart to see who is before you, not the situation or circumstances.
2. More consistency. What every couple needs to build life together is consistency. You have to be a willing participant and show up for your spouse, your relationship, and you.
3. More presence. You have to commit to being present. That means when you're tired, you still do what needs to be done for your sweetheart.
