Talk Back to Me
In the last 10 years we've seen a great expanse when it comes to self defense training. As much as the internet has re-invented the snake oil salesmen in a digital age, we've also seen more and more examples of good instructors across the greater Gun Culture.
Many of those teachers are veterans, who, in their own way, have their own baggage to deal with. And as cathartic as it may be, it's not always appropriate for one to air out dirty laundry mid-course.
One example of how this can go wrong, is when the teacher begins talking about a subject as if he were justifying his position to people not in the room. I call this Arguing with Ghosts.
Listen in and we'll tackle some of this together.
This episode has been sponsored by Obsidian Arms, a manufacturer of tools, parts and firearms, as well as operating as an OEM shop for those looking to bring excellence to the market.
