As a little girl, Annie Saunders already knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. After being sidetracked by a love of labor history and graphic design, as well as being threatened by her school for fraud, she rediscovered her love of animals with a job at a dog training facility. After years of working with animals, moving to the Bay Area and back to the Midwest, Annie realized her dream by becoming a vet. In our conversation, we discuss why she can suss out B.S. from any pet owner, why cows are awesome, Amish friendships and much more. This one is equal parts heartfelt and hilarious.
