Even after we come into relationship with Jesus, we still deal with lingering sin in our hearts and our lives. What does that do in terms of our relationship with God.

As we study Scripture, we find passages that speak to security in salvation by God’s grace to us in Jesus Christ. And yet we also find passages that tell us that God’s blessing is reserved only for those who obey God, and that tell us God opposes those who are sinful and disobedient. How are we to understand this seeming contradiction and tension?
