Godric Gryffindor, one of the founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was known as the best duelist of his time, not only in wand duels but also in sword combat. His sword was a famous magical artifact known as the Sword of Gryffindor, but he also had a second famous artifact, the Sorting Hat. Gryffindor made sure his legacy was secure and even had a settlement and Hogwarts house named after him.
