"Your product is not as important as your marketing"

I heard that and I was like wtf, thats is completely false.  The sad part is that it came form a "guru" in the Internet. 

Yes, marketing is a huge part of the business, is what bring the sale, but what will happen if you start making sales and your product sucks?

People are not stupid, they have more power than you think.

It will take literally a second to them to go to Facebook and tell all their friends how much your product helped them or how much it sucks. There is no middle point.

If all you worry about is making sales, you won't last.
