🔊 “Deadlines tend to be a strong motivator for most people. And they can work. But they are often fear-based. Your brain feels pressure and fears the consequences if you do not achieve the deadline. It gets pushed into survival mode, which is motivating but not fully sustainable long-term. There are other ways to get to the same place – ways that are more focused on thriving mode and creating juice and fire up there. Ways to show your brain the added value and benefits of delivering whatever work you set yourself to deliver.”
