Bani Isra’il used to invoke Allah Most High to send the promised Messenger to assist them in victory over the Arab disbelievers. When Allah Most High sends an Arab prophet, Bani Isra’il immediately rejects him. This, despite recognizing Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace) through the descriptions in the Torah.
