What the hell is up? Today's episode features Cotto, a Seattle-based producer who works at Studio Sage. We sat down to discuss his beats, production work and what it's like to work at Sage. Against the backdrop of his album Sounds by Cotto, you'll hear his story and--along the way-- our random-ass, giggle-laden thoughts about music and art. Of all the artists I've met, I don't think I've ever met someone as obsessed with their craft as Cotto. Not only are his beats absolute fire, but his commitment to creating will take him to ridiculous places. I had so much fun creating this episode, in part because the vibe of Cotto's beats have been comforting and inspiring to me throughout my summer.
