I wonder if you noticed that your calendar today actually has TWO notations on this date. Today is both Valentine’s Day and Ash Wednesday! Now ponder that for a moment. How do you blend together these two very significant days? The apostle John wrote this powerful statement in his first letter which seems to unite these two special days: “This is how God showed His love to humanity: God sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him.
