On Episode 243, we are joined by Georgia English, who is here to promote her new album Pain and Power. 

Her third full-length album, and first-ever Illustrated Album “Pain and Power ”documents English’s personal trauma healing through the lens of the ancient Hero’s Journey tradition.

The project has two components: a full-length album, produced in partnership with Josh Preston, who played all the instruments, and an accompanying book containing color-pencil illustrations and lyrics of each song.

Georgia performs three tracks from the album: One Of The People, 3 Choices in Hell, and Whatever It Takes.  She also talks about how she made the album, along with her influences, and the landscape of America today.
