This week I am chatting with an outstanding member of the Halifax comedy community - Jon Pickett! Jon has been doing standup for almost a whole year - and has also been involved in producing and is a former East Coast Roast Battle Champ. He joins me on the pod to talk about: getting into standup after a breakup, his experiences in comedy so far, work life vs. comedy life, depression and producing shows.

We also talk people pleasing, being too nice, sheeple, the lack of empathy towards service workers, sleep problems and his bad habit of avoiding self care. PLUS: Shroom sandwiches, soul crushing bombs (he hasn't had one, but I have!) and why the rich suck.
