MOST ANIMALS APPEAR AT SAME TIME A new genetic study shows that 90 percent of animals appeared on the Earth simultaneously with human beings, much like the Biblical account. David Thaler of the University of Basel in Switzerland says the findings are sure to jostle more than one settled idea about evolution.
