Raised by a single mom who was struggling to make ends meet on a teacher's salary, this week's guest, Ashlee Ilg had no intention of becoming an entrepreneur, until it became a NEED.

She met her husband at the male-dominated, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and despite both working full-time jobs out of college they were struggling with paying off their debt. That's when Ashlee's husband discovered network marketing.

At first their business with Amway was a "side hustle" but when Ashlee got laid off from her corporate job just a few weeks after returning from her first maternity leave, they started putting all of their energy into the social selling business and quickly took it full-time.

Now the family has multiple businesses including a Voyager Electric Vehicles and a non-profit supporting children to learn more about entrepreneurship called, Kid's Business Day.
