Most people never achieve the level of financial success they desire because they never get a complete financial education or because they subscribe to the traditional idea that having nice things is the end game. However, all those nice things are usually negative assets.

Getting educated is necessary, but we have to understand that most of what we learn in college is not readily marketable to our black communities. And if you noticed, the practical skills of carpentry, brick masonry, electrical wiring, pluming, welding and bookkeeping are no longer certification programs taught in public schools.
