Friday the 13th Part 2 a 1981 American slasher film produced and directed by Steve Miner in his directorial debut, written by Ron Kurz, and starring Amy Steel and John Furey. The film also features the return of Adrienne King, Betsy Palmer and Walt Gorney, who respectively portrayed Alice Hardy, Pamela Voorhees, and Crazy Ralph in the prior installment. It is the second installment in the Friday the 13th film series and a direct sequel to Friday the 13th (1980). It picks up five years later, where a new murderer begins stalking the camp counselors at a nearby training camp on Crystal Lake.
