Yes... it ISSSSSSS sorta the 'blaaaaaaahs' of Summer... THANK GOODNESS at least we have THE OLYMPICS to add to our 'sports talk' as it'd be kinda thin considering we've already crowned the Bucks and Lightning.... baseball is lumbering along.... and of course we ALL are waiting on TRAINING CAMPS TO START for the NFL.  

We DID talk about the Olympics of course... it was A SHOCK of sorts that Katie Ladecki LOST... well.... she got the Silver... in her event.  What was MORE OF A SHOCK was the PUTRID showing of USA Basketball against the French.  RUFKM?!?!?  But at least the US Swim Team CHARGED UP WINNING in many of the events, to include the 4 X 100 Relays.  USA... USA... USA!!

As you can see, I was wearing my Phillies football-type jersey because I'm stoked they split with the Braves... and retained 2nd place in the NL East.  Can anyone catch the Mets? It remains to be seen... and the Rays took 3 out of 4 from the Indians (soon to be Guardians).  The SOX came back and beat the Yank-me's.... but honestly NY is starting to suck like they did in the 1970's.  For those that DON'T KNOW... yes the Yanks SUUUUUUUUCKED in the early 70's.  Their main news items were two pitchers SWAPPING WIVES!!! I'm TOTALLY SERIOUS... I think Mike Kekich was one of the pitchers... can't remember the other one.  LOL.  

I enjoyed having Jakeob the Browns' fan on the show.  This young man KNOWS HIS TEAM and the NFL.  I love folks who can INTELLIGENTLY TALK SPORTS.  

And yes... we even had a bit of "NFL COVID TALK"... Mandatory? Or SHOULD IT BE?  You missed it... but you can ALWAYS chime in NEXT TIME... when you "ASK CAPTAIN JACK"
