Nelly Bly was an American journalist, who was a pioneer in the field of journalism and launched a new kind of investigative journalism with an expose in which she worked undercover to report on a mental institution from within. But she didn't stop there! She was also widely known for her record-breaking trip around the world in 72 days among many other accomplishments.

Lynn tells us about Gabrielle Bonheur "Coco" Chanel who was a French fashion designer and businesswoman. The founder and namesake of the Chanel brand, she was credited in the post–World War I era with popularizing a sporty, casual chic as the feminine standard of style.
