The majority of us live in big cities, surrounded by people and yet can feel alone, isolated and not part of the close community. We are also offered a huge variety of food choices and yet so often we are disconnected from where our food comes from and how it is grown.
The River Cottage is a popular attempt to reconnect with our food and thrive within a community. It’s an idea that we agree can grown anywhere and is important for the health of people and the planet.
Paul West is the host of River Cottage Australia, which explores that journey of reconnecting with the land and our food, and its importance to our sense of community. Respecting the land and the animals which provide us with food is a basic instinct that we have lost.
Paul joins Dr Ron and Dr Michelle to chat about his experience which is educating and inspiring many people.
