Whether you're a hard-boiled detective or just some Dude, Los Angeles is the perfect setting for iconic film noir mysteries, and we had a great time watching two of the very best! Howard Hawks' 'The Big Sleep' is disarmingly kinky and ambiguous, while the Coen's goofy noir hybrid 'The Big Lebowski' has the same Raymond Chandler story beats in a sillier package.
If it seems like our discussion of the movie is aimless and meandering and doesn't come to a satisfying conclusion, then guess what, bitch: neither do any of these films!! live with it!!
