#25 - The creation of a Wallet to get funds to those in need with almost no friction with Jamie Rosenberg
The education system has always struggled with getting the funds to those for which the funding is intended. The need to accountability has often bogged down the process with administrative hurdles and additional costs that almost defeat the purpose of the funding. Many years ago, Jaime Rosenberg identified this problem and made it his goal to fix it!
He started with setting up a system to create a "Wallet" for teachers to have the funds intended for them go to them directly and be used on the supplies they felt were needed in the classroom through Adopt A Classroom, a not for profit he founded. Having realized the technology he created could be used in more far reaching areas, he left his role as CEO of Adopt a Classroom and founded Classwallet. Listen in to her how Jaime realized the technology they created for getting funds to teachers and students in a "wallet" environment had so many further and far reaching implications.
