25: We're Mona Lisa's Eyebrows! With Alexis Airington of the Improv Cookie Company

Listen Later

This week features the deliciously talented Alexis Airington of the Improv Cookie Company! She’s hilarious. She’s talented. Her cookie TikToks and reels are the stuff internet dreams are made of - so much so that over 13.3 million people love her videos! She even made cookies for comedian Nate Bargatze that went viral - in a good way! From her we learn there’s no shame in some premade cookie dough, wedding cakes are (possibly) overrated, and The Great British Bake Off is one of the best shows on television.

Other unstable topics covered: Packing for a girls weekend away and for kids’ sports snacks, chatting about the USA Film Festival and what Sarah and Maggie thought they’d wear (they didn’t wear dresses, but they did look cute). And, even though we all know and love Mona Lisa with her dramatically shaven eyebrows, but when Leonardo DiVinci first painted her portrait she did in fact have brows. Which, to be honest, what woman of the early 2000s doesn’t have a similar story to share?
What do you think? Did you over pluck your brows back in the day? Would you glue them down like a drag queen or bleach them for a million dollars?
All the pop culture, historic, scientific, and all-around fascinating facts and games are written and produced by Sarah and Maggie, and every episode is edited and hosted with love. Do them a solid: follow and review this podcast to help them grow.
