In Part II of this 3-part "You Don't Know Me" series, I share with you impactful moments and choices from my life after 9/11 through the end of my first business venture in 2008. There's a lot of good here, along with some decisions I'm not too fond of. I've since learned that the good in life is usually flanked by the bad and the ugly as well. One of the toughest pills I've swallowed is that I lost relationships with my best friends and their families because of my entrepreneurial ambitions and selfishness. In other words, I chose business (and a domesticated life) over maintaining most of my older friendships. I hope my closet is now a little cleaner, and that the people of my past have since lived better lives without me in them, as I did not deserve their love.
