It's Robots fighting Monsters! How was this not more successful?

On this edition of the 'Wasting Your Time' podcast we head into the breach as Ally and John talk about probably one Hollywood's biggest missed opportunities in along time 'Pacific Rim.' It could of been one of the best franchises around with so much crossover potential. Instead we got a fantastic 1st movie which we spend the majority of the time just geeking out about. Then we talk where the sequel went wrong, and our hopes for the upcoming Netflix Anime series. So let's fire up the Jaegers and fight some Kaiju, as we talk about probably "The Greatest Dumbest Movie" John has ever seen.
