You and I live at a time in history when the number of voices clamoring for our attention can be overwhelming. Politicians, entertainers, journalists, social media, voices from around the world calling for help, our own extended families, friends and of course God. But…do you find it a challenge to hear the voice of God in all the noise, my friends? Part of the reason we’ve been walking through Israel’s history in the Old Testament is to learn from those who lived in much the same challenge we face daily. How did they learn to discern and listen to God’s voice in all the noise?
