Welcome to Asger, who has joined Group 3.
Welcome to Eva, a student teacher until the end of May, with Hanne as mentor.
Welcome to Helene, who started on November 24.
We are closed between Christmas and New Year. No children are registered for shared holiday care at Langdalshøjen.
Open on other school holiday days for registered children.
The church is under renovation, so for Lucia on December 12, we can only invite two guests per child (max 100 people). Coffee after Lucia is canceled.
Group 1 parents are invited to bake Lucia bread for the children. Sign-up sheet will be posted.
Parents who wish can stay after the procession to hear about the church bells and the Christmas gospel.
Lucia Program
We play a game all month pretending elves exist. They’ll decorate the houses for Christmas from the first weekday in December. In Blåbærhuset, elves move in after the children help decorate in late November.
Each child will take an elf home during December. Please take a photo of the elf at home and send it via Aula (just the child’s name in the message). We’ll show the photo during circle time so the child can share what the elf did. Please don’t send treats with the elf.
Other activities:
Daily storytelling in the “Christmas Cave,” nature-based decorations, and a local Christmas tree decorated by Group 1.
