📖 Luke 3:21–22 (ESV)
21 Now when all the people were baptized, and when Jesus also had been baptized and was praying, the heavens were opened,
22 and the Holy Spirit descended on him in bodily form, like a dove; and a voice came from heaven,
“You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.”

At Jesus’ baptism, heaven itself responded.
The Holy Spirit descended.
The Father spoke with divine affirmation.
The Son stood in humility and obedience.

This moment confirms:
✔ Jesus is the long-awaited Messiah
✔ Jesus is the beloved Son of God
✔ The Trinity is present in perfect unity
✔ Obedience is the path to divine approval

God’s declaration over Jesus reveals His identity, His mission, and the Father’s pleasure in Him.
And through Christ, believers today also receive God’s love and affirmation.
