📖 Luke 4:38–39 (ESV)
38 And he arose and left the synagogue and entered Simon's house. Now Simon's mother-in-law was ill with a high fever, and they appealed to him on her behalf.
39 And he stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her, and immediately she rose and began to serve them.

In one moment, Jesus stepped into a home filled with worry and turned sickness into strength.
Simon Peter’s mother-in-law lay bedridden with a high fever—one described in Greek as megas, meaning great or severe.
But Jesus simply rebuked the fever, and it left instantly. No delay. No recovery period. From the bed of illness straight to active service.

This miracle reminds us:
✔ Jesus heals completely
✔ Restoration leads to service
✔ Healing is not only for comfort, but for calling
✔ When God touches your life, it transforms your purpose
