📖 Luke 4:40–41 (ESV)
40 Now when the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to him, and he laid his hands on every one of them and healed them.
41 And demons also came out of many, crying, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.

As the Sabbath ended and the sun went down, crowds rushed to Jesus—bringing every sick and suffering person they could.
Jesus healed every one of them. No one was too sick, too broken, or too hopeless. Even demons recognized Him as the Son of God.

But Jesus silenced them.
Not because their declaration was false, but because the truth must never be associated with evil sources or misunderstood by the crowds. Jesus avoided false publicity to preserve the purity of His mission.

This passage reveals:
✔ Jesus’ compassion
✔ Jesus’ authority over sickness and demons
✔ Jesus’ wisdom in avoiding shallow popularity
✔ The purity of His mission as the true Messiah
