After surviving a terrifying attack on his travels, Jonathan McLernon suffered heavily from anxiety, depression and PTSD. This led to him wrestling with the truth of the Christianity he had been taught; the Christianity that taught him rules and structure. He discovered a new lens through which to perceive his faith, one that felt more robust and true, one that doesn't perceive faith through fear, threats and trepidation. With this revelation, Jonathan learned to break free from the fear.
