Today on the Podcast I am joined by Jacqui Toumbas who is a bit of legend here in Brissy if I do say so myself hehe

Former owner of Miss Bliss and now a Nutritionist, Cook and Food / Hospitality Consultant, she has trail blazed her way through the hospitality space and created a strong and relatable brand online.

 

I initially wanted to get Jacqui on the podcast because I was interested in her business journey.  Starting a very well known superfood cafe and then selling it - I wanted to pick Jacqui’s brain on what it felt like to move on from a business you created from the ground up.  We spoke a lot about the identity shift on moving on from one career and transitioning into her consulting and content creation business.  Jacqui shared her struggles with imposter syndrome and how she found the courage to just lean into her strengths.

 

We also spoke about the importance of community in business.  Believe it or not, Jacqui has another business in the works which she hopes will drive the same community and connection as Miss Bliss once did.  Jacqui shares with us how beautiful community can be as a business owner and the importance of finding people who get you and share the same values.

 

Finally, we journeyed through the ups and downs of business.  Jacqui shares her practices that help her feel grounded and keeps her mental health in check.  Business can be overwhelming and there is no way of doing one thing, having set practices that fill your cup up are key in an entrepreneur’s journey.
